Hearing Loss Solution

Hearing loss is no stranger to our family. My brother has significant hearing loss from being in a rock band in the 80’s. And my mother has also experienced hearing loss as she ages. Missing out on funny things people say or pretending to be part of a conversation that you just can’t hear is no fun. Struggling to hear and communicate can be stressful if yours or a loved one’s hearing aids are no longer providing enough benefit. Cochlear implants are designed to provide clearer sound to help you understand what is being said and may help those with moderate to profound hearing loss regain the ability to hear conversations and communicate with family and friends.

I recently met someone (named Michele, also from Louisiana!) that has struggled with hearing loss and found great success with @cochlearamericas. Michele shared with me her journey with cochlear implants and how she went from 4% hearing to 98% hearing!! (Check out my stories to see part of our conversation) Did you know that according to the National Institutes of Health website, one in every three people 65 years of age and one in every two people 75 years of age and over has hearing loss?

If you know someone who has moderate to profound hearing loss, please refer them to the Cochlear site here: https://bit.ly/2X3QIXk
