Revision Skincare

For the last four weeks I have been using Revision Skincare that I got from The Dermatology Clinic in Baton Rouge, LA. Revision is a medical grade skincare line mostly sold at a Doctors office, or Med Spa. Only one other time, have I exclusively used a medical grade line…it was many years ago (Obagi).

After 4 weeks I am seeing positive changes in my skin! I am learning the benefits of using products all from the same line, as they work together and compliment each other. I don’t think it is a must to do this, but I am seeing the benefits of doing so.

I also had micro-needling done right before starting these new products. You can read about my experience here: https://poisedpetite.com/microneedling-experience/

I believe the micro-needling jump started my results because one of the benefits of micro-needling is that your products penetrate deeper into the skin. Revision has quickly become a new favorite! While I have enjoyed all of the products, there are a few standouts!

The Vitamin C+ Correcting Complex (I used in the morning) and the Hydrating Serum (I use both am & pm) have brightened my skin to look more radiant. Using these two back to back adds so much moisture, that my face feels more plump (youthful).

The Revox 7 (I use both am & pm) has been a game changer for me. It’s purpose is to diminish fine lines in targeted areas. For me, this is crows feet, the 11’s between my brows and laugh lines around my mouth. I have had botox in these areas and my experience with Revox 7 is that it is making the botox last longer. I am in my fifty’s, so I am going to have fine lines, but I feel like Revox 7 helps them not be so predominant.

Lastly, the DEJ Eye Cream (I use both am & pm) has become my new favorite eye cream (and I have used a lot, at many different price points). It is effective and gentle all in one. I use it below my eyes and on my eyelids and I am seeing less crepiness in both areas.

My final takeaway is this: When you can use more products from the same line you will see that they work together and can be more effective. Also, as in everything, consistency is key. You have to be faithful to use them when and how you are supposed to. Just like with dieting, you can’t diet some days and not some day and expect to see results. You have to be committed and consistent to see results.
