2020 Holiday Outfit Ideas

Hi Ladies! The holidays are upon us! I recently asked on Instagram if you dress up or keep it casual for Christmas. The majority said casual. So, for the most part my suggestions will be casual. Be sure to read all the way through this post as you will find outfit ideas for the husbands, sons or boyfriends as well!

For the ladies I thought I would show you 3 tops that can all be worn with either black leggings or a black slim leg pant.

This plaid tunic is a great color and style for an easy, comfortable look. I love the mixed plaid patterns, and pockets! This style is available in misses, petite, plus and tall.

This marled cowl neck dress is adorable and so soft! It pairs perfectly with a pair of black leggings! This is also available in misses, petite, plus and tall.

The red shirttail turtleneck tunic is the perfect color for Christmas. The ease and flow are beautiful, still allowing a little shape. And again is offered in misses, petite, plus and tall.

Here are my favorite leggings and pants. These leggings are the perfect fit, stretch, and ease. They are available in misses, petite, plus and tall. I wear them in a Petite Small. These pants are a velvet/corduroy that has a flattering fit and available in regular, petite and tall. I wear an 8 petite in this brand.

You could wear any of these shoe choices with any of the above choices. Those is a colder climate may prefer the boot or bootie. And those in a warmer climate may prefer a mule. In any case, you could wear any of these with the above mentioned.

Now let’s move on to Men. All of my selections for men are from Amazon.

In our family, we have men that are a regular size in shirts, and men that are a slim fit in shirts, so I’ve included both. This regular fit button down is a great shade of red for Christmas! It is by an Amazon Brand and under $20! The slim fit is another great plaid option for only $26.

The fleece vest would go great with either one of the button downs, and a great option for under $20. The quarter zip sweatshirt is a little more casual and again, a great price!

All three of my boys wear beanies, so I thought it would be a good idea to include this one! Gloves, scarf and socks are always good to have on hand as well.

We have the same situation with pants in our family… Some of my guys wear regular and some wear slim fit. My youngest son has several pair of this slim fit pant and loves them. The regular fit is also nice, and a great price point.

Lastly, the shoe for men. Again, my youngest has this pair and says they are comfortable! I am not an expert on men’s clothes, but I can share what my guys like and hopefully that can give you a few ideas.
