Girls Trip Beauty Products

Last week I got to meet up with my Blogger Besties for a fabulous few days! Getting to meet my friends in person was awesome. These ladies are the real deal…what you see is what you get. I admire them, am encouraged by them and am blessed to call them friends! There were many brands that sponsored our trip (clothes, skincare, pajamas, sunglasses, etc.) Today we each wanted to share our thoughts on the beauty items that were sent for us to enjoy on our trip.

ovved Aveda
I’ve always loved Aveda products but haven’t had a chance to try them all. The salon I go to (Paris Parker at Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge) is an Aveda Salon. If you are in the South Louisiana area, I encourage you to check them out. The service is spectacular, the precision with cuts and colors are spot on. I can’t say enough how much I love to have my hair done, because it’s such a relaxing experience. The dry shampoo smells SO good! I love it because you know how when you go out to eat at a mexican restaurant you hair then smells like fajitas?! This dry shampoo covers that up and your hair smells amazing! The Heat Relief is great for protecting your hair from heat our styling tools we use. I section my hair off and spray the Heat Relief on that section and then curl. And lastly, the Air Control hairspray holds your hair in place without feeling like you have helmet hair.

The CO2 Lift Mask was a fun experience! Two masks come in a box, so we used one while we were there and brought one home. You pour the powder from the packet into a cup, add the specified amount of water and stir until it is well blended. Then, you dip the stick applicator into the cup picking up product and smooth it on to your face, neck, decolletage and backs of hands. Here is a pic of how cute you look in the mask!

You let it sit for about 45 minutes and then peel it off. The CO2LIFT Carboxy Gel Treatment effectively… *Reduces dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. *Reduces fine lines and wrinkles *Increases hydration to recapture the skins youthful glow *Reduces inflammation and accelerates healing from laser procedures and chemical peels *Increases skin’s hydration 117% *Lifts and Tightens skin *Smooths skins texture *Reduces pore size *Brightens skin tone *Anti-inflammatory. My recommendation is that it would be perfect to use before a big event (wedding, reunion). My skin felt so very soft and smooth right after and for several days!

Lastly, we were treated to a Revision Skincare bag of goodies! If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know this is my holy grail skincare. I have seen the difference in my skin and have used it consistently for a couple of years now. The Nectifirm is hydrating and great to use morning and evening. It combats aging and crepey looking skin. The Papaya Enzyme Cleanser gently dissolves rough dead skin cells revealing a brighter, smoother complexion. The DEJ Night Face Cream is perfect for night time because it is formulated to work while you sleep with time-released 0.25% retinol. (If you are already using a Retinol product in your skincare routine, I would recommend the regular DEJ Face Cream because it does not contain a Retinol in the ingredients) The Intellishade Tinted Moisturizer with SPF is what I use every morning. Most of the time I don’t wear foundation because it gives you a light coverage. I love having my moisturizer and SPF all in one product! The Revision Vitamin C is hands down my favorite Vitamin C. It contains 30% L-Ascorbic Acid and is formulated to penetrate deep into the skin. I LOVE it!! The Youthfull Lip Replenisher is great for those of us with dry lips. It is a very thick, moisturizing product. I have found that if I sleep with it on, I way up to smooth, moisturized lips.

If you have any questions about any of these products, please feel free to ask!
