Hi Ladies!
I hope your week is going good! It feels good to get back into a schedule after Thanksgiving. I absolutely love the holidays with family and food and laughter! But I also know that I function better with routine. Currently, I work three days a week at a fun home decor/gifts/vintage type shop. It is a lot of fun and I enjoy what I do. However, I did just tell the owner that starting in January, I want to go to two days a week. I think that will be a better fit for my life right now.
So, this week the top five favorites were no surprise! They are definitely some of my faves too!
The pink Peace, Love, Chic Sweater is adorable! I’ve seen some girls style it with a pop of animal print in a shirt underneath, or a belt.
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings were a big hit last weekend, as they were 20% off (and they rarely ever go on sale). I do love mine. Next on my list to buy from Spanx is the High Waise Flare Leg Pant.
This Amber Peasant Dress is so pretty! That is from a collaboration I did with Dressbarn. Honestly, I had never shopped there before they reached out to me. I was pleasantly surprised by the range in sizes and styles!
Poncho Sweaters from Loft are a win every year for me. Last year I had a camel colored one that I wore so much! I’m enjoying this years colors too! The cowl neck is loose enough that I don’t feel constricted.
Lastly, these hexagon style Ray-Ban’s have been so fun! I’m happy to see so many of you think so too! They aren’t too big, and fit really well.
Also! I saved the ham bone from Thanksgiving and made Red Beans and Rice (using the ham bone). It turned out so good! I don’t really follow a recipe, but I’ll tell you how I made it. Let red beans soak in water for a few hours before putting in crock put. Use a crock pot liner, spray with Pam and place ham bone in, then beans and about 6 cups of water. Add onion, garlic, Tony’s seasoning and a bayleaf. Let it cook all day. About an hour before serving, thicken it up by taking out some beans, mashing them with a fork and then stir back in. We love it!
Thanks for spending part of your day with me today!
Talk to you soon~Michelle
