Hello Friend!,

I feel very inadequate to write a post on fitness because I am SO not a fitness girl. However, I can tell you what I do, what I use and how I use it. I’m also tag teaming with some blogger friends that are more knowledgeable about fitness so be sure to read their blogs too!

In the last year, one thing I’ve done that has been very beneficial is intermitting fasting. Basically it is choosing an 8 hour window to eat, and a 16 hour window to fast. I eat from noon to 8pm, and fast from 8pm until noon the next day. Your eating window can be whenever you’d like… 11-7, or whatever.

Drinking half of my body weight in ounces in water each day has also helped me. I fill my pink water cup every morning and keep track all day of my water intake.

I do not workout every day. I don’t like it and have to force myself to do it. I’d rather walk on the treadmill or walk in my neighborhood (which is still good to do!). When I follow along with a workout, I do it in a modified way. I do push myself, but not too much. I have a set of hand weights I use that are 2 lbs each. (I knw that is wimpy) While the workout leader is using 35 lb weights, I’m using 2 lb. I feel like if I am moving my body, working different muscles and putting effort in t it, then I am doing good. You may not agree, and that’s ok. This is just works best for me.

I do think it’s important to exercise in a good fitting athletic shoe. I like Nike Air because they are light weight and fit well (go up a half size, because they run a little small0.

I’ve never been one to invest in athletic wear for workouts. But I did recently buy these cute pieces from Target! I love this tank because it is loose fitting (I don’t want it to cling). The leggings are comfortable and great for working out. I am wearing a medium in both.

At the beginning of the year I started a program called Faster Way to Fat Loss. It is a 6 week program that focuses on the foods you eat and exercising. I have been very faithful at following the food, but not quite as ridged with the workouts. I’m only half way in right now, but I can tell you what I’ve learned so far has been very educational and helpful.
