Hi Ladies! Hope this finds you well on this week before Thanksgiving! It will be a busy week for me with work and prepping for company coming. Paul & I laughed when we saw this giant Rubik’s Cube yesterday…It brought back fun memories! Our youngest, who is now 21 years old is a Rubik’s Cube Wiz! When he was in 4th grade he could solve the puzzle by holding it behind his back for the last few steps. Kids at school were amazed and they would bring him their Rubik’s Cube from home and ask him to solve it. Unbeknownst to us, he was charging kids $1 to fix their cube! Needless to say, the teachers put a stop to that…but the principal did write an article about Ryan and it was in our local paper.
Let’s talk fashion! The basics are what you’ll find me in most of the time. (Comfortable jeans, T-shirt, Soft cardigan and either booties or slides)
This striped cardigan is so soft (almost as soft as Barefoot Dreams!). I love the color combo too. It was not offered in petite sizing, so I got an XS, and it does run big.
These jeans are a favorite! They have a little distressing, but not too much. I love a high rise fit. Loft is so good about offering petite, regular, plus and tall sizes. For reference, I am wearing an 8 petite.
I also live in basic white t-shirts, long sleeve in winter and short sleeve in summer. My favorite tees are from J. Jill. I find they are thick enough that you can’t see through them, but not too thick that you would get hot. This long sleeve tee is a perfect fit (I’m wearing a petite small).
Slides or booties are on repeat for me as well. With temps in the 70’s, this open toe bootie is perfect. I enjoy the block heel, as I find it easier to walk in!
Lastly, this gold coin necklace is so fun! I love how it add texture and style.
