Hi Friends! I thought it would be fun it start a “Sunday Chat” here on the blog. I think of it as a time when we can chat and catch up on current happenings. I’ll break it down by category to keep it consistent.
Beauty/Fashion – Last week I was invited to a Social Media/Influencer Lancome Event at Dillards. We were educated on the history of Lancome as well as introduced to new cutting edge products. I had such a great time, connecting with some of my local blogger friends!
One of the products I came home with is an anti aging serum called “Genifique.” I have used it for 5 days and LOVE it! I am very careful when trying new products. I try only one at a time so I will know if it irritates my skin. This particular serum make the texture of my skin feel soft and smooth. I’ll let you know about other products I came home with, once I have tried them.

Family – Tomorrow (Monday) is my husband’s 60th birthday! We celebrated today (Mother’s Day) and had a fabulous time!! Our youngest, Ryan, finished his junior year of college and is starting over a summer internship. Eric will be starting a new part time job at a local, hipster type coffee shop. He starts back to school in June on a nursing track.
