Shopping with the Girls -

There are so many fun places to shop in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, so I thought I’d share a few of my favorite spots. Magazine Street in New Orleans has cool, unique shops that are so fun! One of my favorites is Mignon Faget. When we were there a couple of weeks ago we were invited to have a tour of the flagship store explaining the history of how Mignon Faget began.

Each Mignon Faget piece is designed on historic Magazine Street in New Orleans. Drawing from her fine arts training, Mignon Faget’s designs are anchored in natural and architectural concepts, which come to life in timeless sculptural forms. We were each gifted a beautiful Halo Bangle (shown in the photos). It’s the perfect addition to my bracelet stack. Here are a couple more pieces in my collection that I think are just exquisite.

Another favorite place to shop on Magazine Street is Krewe. We were supposed to visit the flagship store, but instead ended up visiting their new pop up location at Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge. At KREWE, they lead with design and let culture drive the rest. They are inspired by the endless diversity of life and infuse that same creative energy and spirit into every pair of their exceptional, hand-crafted frames.

We were greeted with champagne and a history of Krewe glasses. We were individually helped to find the frame that best fit our face shape and size. After trying several styles, I ended up with the Matte Oyster to Pearl. I love the style and the way they fit my face.

Perkins Rowe was so kind to host a shopping spree for us at Versona (a new location). We loved checking out all the earthy tones, feathers, fringe and flowy styles!

Lastly, we ran into Loft at Towne Center and found great Spring styles! Loft is one of my favorite places to shop. The team at Loft pulled all types of styles from the new collection for us to try. We had a blast in the fitting rooms shopping together!
