It’s that time of year when we start thinking about self tanners. Since I’m always looking for the latest and greatest, I thought you might be too. So I’ll tell you what I’m currently using. I have tried some new products that I am enjoying and have a few oldies that I still like and use! So let’s dive in:
For my body I have been using
Coconut Water Based Long Lasting Self Tanner Foam (long name!) Here is a link to it : https://amzn.to/2WkTjO8 I use it at night when I get out of the shower. After I have moisturized, I apply it with a mitt. I do this for 2 or 3 nights in a row until I reach the color I want.
For my face I use Loreal Sublime Self Tanning Mist in medium. Here is a link to it: https://amzn.to/2YJscKu I use this after I shower and have applied all of my nighttime skincare routine. I hold my breath, close my eyes and spray it on my face and neck.
Once I have achieved the color I am wanting, to maintain it I use Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer. Here is a link to it: https://amzn.to/2LWeKB7 I follow the directions on the bottle. While I’m still in the shower, I turn off the water, and sort of wipe the water off of my skin (do not dry). I apply the product evenly on my body, then barely turn the water back on to get it off of my hands. Turn water back off, and pat dry. I was skeptical about this really working before I tried it…but I’m so glad I did because it really increases how many days my tan will last.
Lastly, If I am feeling self conscious about the veins in my legs and would like better color coverage, I will use Sally Hansen Air Brush Legs (in medium). Here is a link to it: https://amzn.to/2QeolC0 I will use a little but on the bottom part of my legs. This is like body makeup, so it washes off. i apply it with my bare hand and then wash my hands.
I hope this has been helpful! Let me know if you have any questions. And let me know the self tanning products that work for you:) Take care, Blessings~Michelle
