The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one that I anticipate and look forward to all year! If you are not familiar with what it’s all about, let me explain. Once a year in July or August, Nordstrom will have an anniversary sale where they bring out brand new fall items at a discounted price. After the sale, the price goes back up to the original price. It is an opportunity to see what’s coming for fall, get it at a discount and have a great size selection to choose from. I love this because many times by the time something goes on sale, it has been so shopped and picked over, that my size is no longer available.

- Anniversary Sale is open to everyone August 19–30. Prices go up August 31.
I’m usually not an advocate for having another credit card, but this one has so many added benefits, I would get one if you don’t have one.
The preview of items is up and available to see at www.nordstrom.com so you can check it all out, create a wish list and then whatever your day is to shop, it’s super easy and quick.
I find the easiest way to shop is to break it down by category. For instance shoes, clothing, beauty…then type in your size to narrow it down even more. Nordstrom offers free shipping and free returns, if you are unsure about a size, you could order different sizes of the same items and send back the one that doesn’t fit ( because it’s free to send back!)
Nordstrom has house brands that are amazing! Some of my favorites are: Halogen, Caslon, Treasure & Bond, Leith, Zella and BP. Some times with other brands they run out of stock, but with in house brands they usually have plenty in stock.
