Last week I was invited to a Beauty Blogger Spa Party at Nur Medical Spa in Baton Rouge. I had the best time and thought I’d share what it was like in case you were curious!
We were welcomed with robes and goody bags with our names on them! We rotated the services offered and met back up at the end of the night to chat and take pictures.
My first service was laser hair removal under the arms. I was a little nervous, but it was really okay. It felt like little stings under my arm, but nothing I couldn’t handle. I’m so glad I got to experience it because I honestly did not know how quick and painless it is.
My next service was Skincare 101. I was educated about the Zo Skincare Product line (former creator of Obagi Skincare). It was great to have a one on one conversation with an expert, as she allowed to to ask specific questions pertaining to my problem areas.
Then I had a brow tint, light chemical peel and mini facial. The brow tint was new to me and again I loved seeing how quick that is! The chemical peel and facial were fabulous as well!
Next was a Skin Scope. This was truly valuable information! I poked my head into the scope and it was able to illuminate areas of my face that I have age spots and hyper pigmentation. I was able to see areas I have missed or need to improve with my sunscreen. During this time I was able to chat with Dr. Edupuganti and get her input and recommendations on skincare products. I was able to ask questions and truly appreciated how she educated me.
Lastly, I had a makeup application from a Jane Iredale makeup artist, educating me on products and making recommendations.
The staff at Nur Medical Spa were so kind and helpful. Each one took time to explain services and answered any questions I had. I look forward to having an ongoing relationship with them!
