I thought it would be fun to look back at my favorites from April 2020, since it was a month like no other! We found ourselves reaching for comfort, ease and practical. (I’ve posted a corresponding video over on Instagram if you’d like to watch).
Let’s start with Makeup! Most days in April I did not put on a full face of makeup, but one thing I did reach for a lot was my It CC Cream with SPF 50 https://rstyle.me/+uhEjCwPdRXrXrnNxiypbqQ . The coverage is great but not heavy feeling. Also, to add moisture and a little bit of pink I would reach for Loreal Color Riche 908 Sparkling Rose https://rstyle.me/+UkrB-rvIeKIKK_ja1P2szg.
Moving on to skincare…At the beginning of the month I purchased an eye cream from Eminence https://rstyle.me/+drm41iDtqbY2D7PJv9kGAw that I am loving!! I also had been waiting on a newly released product from Eminence that arrived during the quarantine and was able to get it curbside. This moisturizer https://rstyle.me/+V2z0Dmq8-OPb0rr1zwJhpg is perfect for daytime! It goes on dewy and moisturizing but sinks into the skin leaving a matte finish (perfect for under your makeup).
Oddly enough, the clothing items I have reached for the most are v-neck tees and denim shorts. A few random things I reached for was my Biodentical Hormone Replacement Therapy Medicine. I’ve been on BHRT for 3 years now and have had incredible success with it. If you are local and would like more info I would recommend Vitality Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Andrew Dow and his team are the best!

When I was at Target recently I grabbed Joanna Gaines latest cookbook https://rstyle.me/+tPUDxre2pcI7T0_PtEra_Q Magnolia Table. I have made two recipes so far and have many more marked to try!
We don’t watch a lot of TV, but what we have been watching is The Voice, American Idol and Chicago P.D. (and the news!)
Lastly, one of my favorite things in April 2020, is you! I have enjoyed my social media friends so much!! You guys lift my spirits, encourage me and have made this pandemic season better.
